What Is the Difference between Soft Enamel & Hard Enamel

One of the most asked questions is what’s the difference between Hard and Soft Enamel Pins.

The short answer is hard enamel is polished flat and soft enamel has recessed enamel. This gives the soft enamel a “bumpy” feel when you run your finger over it, as it has more texture.

What Are Enamel Pins Used For?

A lapel pin is a small pin that is usually worn on clothing.  Often worn on the lapel, or pocket of a jacket. They can be used as decoration on quarkboards and other accessories like backpacks and laptop bags too.
